This report looks at how women's rights and gendered perspectives were included (or excluded) in six peace agreements from the Asia Pacific region and recommends alternative wording for provisions where improvements could easily be made. It examines, from a gender perspective, how the agreements deal with five recurring concerns in peace processes: power-sharing, resource-sharing, security arrangements, and access to justice and monitoring.
