What fate do Afghans believe awaits their country when international forces leave in 2014? According to this report, they overwhelmingly think that the Taliban will be unable to capture Kabul by force. However, most of them also believe that the Taliban and other insurgent groups will take control of large parts of the countryside, thus leaving Afghanistan with a fragile urban-rural divide.
