The first paper addresses community policing as a new way of crime prevention in the country, while the second deals with the New Criminal Procedure Act and its implications for the role of the police in Serbia. Professional ethics and police culture are discussed by the author of the third paper, giving insights into the creation of a Code of Professional Ethics for the police in Serbia.
