This paper considers the evolving position of Brazil as a rising power on issues of development and peacebuilding. It gives insights into Brazil’s particular approach towards conflict-affected states and concludes with some reflections on how Brazil could engage on issues relating to conflict prevention in the context of the post-2015 development agenda.
