With a sweeping electoral victory, Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) occupies a strong position in a vastly reimagined political landscape. The author argues that the LDP has several policy partners which can help it push forward its agenda, including a possible constitutional revision and increased support for Japan's postwar military.
