The UN has little problem finding adequate numbers of troops for its operations but still lacks critical enablers in training and equipment. This International Peace Institute discussion addresses the future of European commitments to UN peacekeeping, its role in overcoming the problems in the UN peacekeeping force and how to engage Europe at a time when military and security spending is on the decline.
