This commentary uses Moroccan King Muhammad VI's visit to Jordan to discuss the two countries' contribution to regional stability. Both monarchies have been invited to join the Gulf Coordination Council (GCC) as full members. The author argues that the new GCC alliance is not only a support base for the less stable countries outside it. It can also be an accelerator of reform for its own members.
