This volume explores a variety of issues pertaining to international as well as regional security and stability in the context of development. Some of the issues discussed in the articles include new wars, community organization against crime in Mexico, urbanization in Sub-Saharan Africa, the search for missing persons in Timor Leste, and international justice and cooperation mechanisms in post-conflict societies.
