This policy brief addresses the negotiations status and the potential impact of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the US and EU. If successful, the US-EU FTA will create significant economic and strategic benefits for both parties, notably the ability to forestall calls for decreases in distorting industrial and agricultural subsidies.
