This policy brief addresses the impact of EU's regulation framework on the Polish gas market. The Polish gas market lags significantly behind the more liberalized and integrated gas markets in Northern and Western Europe. Polish authorities only recently made some strategic decisions. These, however, are only the first steps towards creating a well-functioning gas and liquid gas market in Poland.
