This bulletin discusses the EU's financial assistance package for Cyprus and the implications for EU-Russia relations. Despite having completely different views on Cyprus’s financial problems, the authors argue, the EU and Russia have a shared interest in the country avoiding insolvency given the economic and political risks such a scenario carries.
