This report looks at the future of US gas exports and their effect on US prices. According to the authors, the US is expected to go from a net importer of natural gas to a net exporter by 2020. The authors argue that a significant rise in US natural gas exports would likely put upward pressure on domestic prices, but also underline that the magnitude of any rise is as yet unclear.
