This paper features a survey designed to investigate the perception of corruption in Serbian society and the police. The survey suggests that the majority of Serbians think that corruption is widespread. However, it also shows that people think the level of corruption has decreased and that the fight against it has had some success. For further improvements, the survey suggests many believe that it is necessary to strengthen institutions and tighten penalties rather than give individuals more power.
