This report focuses on private sector financing and how it can be more effectively used to help reduce the severity of climate change, especially in developing countries. The authors argue that it is necessary to create a good investment climate for the private sector in the area of climate reduction technology. A reason for this is that it has much larger funds than the public sector. This means that governments must tackle the barriers that hinder such investment.
