This brief presents results from a survey which investigated international migration aspirations in Morocco, Senegal, Turkey and Ukraine. The findings suggest that such aspirations are widespread and people with a strongly positive perception of Europe are far more likely to have migration aspirations than those with a neutral or negative perception of Europe. They also show that gender and the perception of changes to living standards do not seem to affect the desire to migrate.
