This roundtable report summarizes the proceedings of the SDA's February 2006 conference on network centric capabilities (NCC). The panelists discuss the medium and longer term predictions for NCC systems; the role of NCC in the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP); and the value of NCC in asymmetric warfare. They also examine the extent to which recent conflicts, such as the US-led war against Iraq, provide valuable lessons about NCC.
