This commentary examines South Korea's relationship with the US in light of a May 2013 President Park's visit to Washington. The author outlines an agenda for the bilateral relationship, focusing on military cooperation and the state of political ties. He suggests it is important that President Obama and President Park work to enhance the alliance that has underpinned South Korea's security since the 1950s.
