This issue explores a range of issues related to terrorism studies. The first article talks about how counterterrorism operations could exploit divisions and infighting in terrorist groups. The second analyses social mechanisms that lead to the emergence of suicide attacks. The third explores the public reporting of terrorism-related matters after the 2007 Glasgow Airport terrorist attack. The fourth discusses al-Qaeda’s efforts to establish itself in the Gaza Strip. This issue also includes two book reviews and an opinion piece.
