This commentary suggests that a greater adoption of inter-parliamentary cooperation, through measures such as the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), could play a part in helping address perceptions of democratic deficit in the EU. It also argues that Poland should further this agenda at the Inter-parliamentary Conference for CFSP/CSDP and that, from the Polish perspective, the conference could lead to deeper parliamentary cooperation with other EU member states.
