This report examines possible trends in international affairs to the year 2030 focusing on individual empowerment, power relations, demographic patterns, and environment and resource security. The report also covers other critical issues such as governance gaps, regional instability and the health of the global economy. The authors use these trends to create four future scenarios for world politics in 2030, acknowledging that the reality will probably have elements of all the predicted scenarios.
