This book offers insights into prospects for regional cooperation in South Asia. The articles examine a number of issues ranging from accomplishments and challenges in EU integration, efforts at democratization in Bangladesh and challenges facing South Asian cooperation using the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) as a case study. In addition, the authors discuss the impact of Chinese influence in South Asia on regional cooperation, peace-building efforts in Nepal, future prospects for improved Indo-Pak relations and steps taken in Sri Lanka towards regaining peace and stability.
