This edition of the RAD features three articles on popular culture and politics in Russia. The first article deals with popular bestsellers, blockbuster movies, and video games, and briefly discusses its implications on Russian democratization. The second article describes the uses of glamour in Russian culture today. The third article takes a closer look at political humor on Russian television.
