This commentary argues that the 2013 summit between President Obama and Xi has the potential to prove to be the most significant dialogue between the US and China in four decades. The author argues that the most important results of the meeting will be the level of comfort each feels toward the other as well as the determination of each side to bring about a pragmatic, results-oriented relationship where objectives are understood.
