This paper looks at the wider implications of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation on energy matters following the discovery of gas fields in the Levant Basin. The author argues that an energy revolution is indeed brewing in the Eastern Mediterranean and that it ought to be rationally integrated in the EU’s future economic outlook and policies.
