This policy paper presents an overview of the Indian perception of Poland. The authors argue that without more investment in the 'Polish brand' in India, it will be difficult to attract Indian tourists, entrepreneurs or students to come to Poland. Similarly, unless Poland is perceived as a regional leader and major member of the EU, the idea of a stronger strategic partnership will have no takers in New Delhi. The paper concludes with several recommendations for improving Poland’s visibility in order to strengthen bilateral relations with India.
