This bulletin assesses the implications of Lithuania's presidency of the EU Council. The authors discuss expectations that Lithuania will use its term to bridge the gap between the Euro 'ins' and 'outs' and to propel the debate on the European Monetary Union (EMU), Eastern Partnership, Single Market and energy. The paper also considers the impact of Lithuania's position on Polish–Lithuanian relations.
