This commentary examines Polish–French relations and their implications on cooperation over the issue of European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) since 2012. It looks at the bilateral cooperation and diplomatic contact between the two countries and the question of how best to combine the eastern and southern dimensions of the ENP. The authors suggest that a compromise might be found via a shared institutional set-up, improving the implementation of ENP, and knowledge-sharing exercises between the two geographical dimensions.
