This article discusses Moscow’s financial support to Belarus and their bilateral relations. The author argues that Russia’s continued readiness to offer assistance to its neighbor reflects the importance Moscow attaches to Belarus. At the same time, Moscow’s support has become an important economic and political factor for Belarus.
