In this transcript, Jeffrey Sachs explains how John F Kennedy's leadership style during the 1963 Partial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty negotiations can offer lessons for tackling today's global challenges, including the post-2015 development agenda. One point he raises is that unlike any other US president, JFK aimed to humanize his opponents and that he believed that Americans needed to re-examine their own attitudes toward them.
