This survey presents critical trends in small arms supply and misuse. It features three thematic sections. The first section focuses on trends in armed violence in Latin America and the Caribbean. The second looks at two country-specific studies, Kazakhstan and Somaliland. The third looks at weapons and markets, highlighting the issues of Somali piracy, authorized arms transfers, transparency and illicit small arms.
