This note summarizes findings of a report on the impact of intentional injuries committed with a firearm and the consequences of self-inflicted and unintentional firearm injuries. It suggests that non-lethal firearm violence is far more widespread than deaths from firearms worldwide. However, it also says that information about non-lethal firearm injuries is limited due to a lack of data.
