This report looks at the debate over air quality in the 113th US Congress and the regulatory actions of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It says that the EPA Clean Air Act's regulations on emissions of greenhouse gases and revision of the ambient air quality standards for ozone are of particular interest to Congress. It also reports that the EPA has taken action on a number of other air pollution regulations, generally in response to court actions.
