This issue examines a range of contemporary and emerging debates in the field of human rights. Contributors examine the relationship between human rights and development, international organizations, indigenous peoples, economic growth, transnational corporations, security, and women. It also includes a number of articles which address the protection of specific types of rights, including the right to water and health as well as a piece on how individuals can report suspected human rights violations.
