This report by the Peace and Security Council provides and analysis of the security situation in each Nigeria, South Sudan and the Ivory Coast. It looks at the terrorist threat of the Boko Haram in Nigeria, the violent conflicts in the state of Southern Sudan, and the post-electoral crisis and constitutional order in the Ivory Coast. The publication also reports on the January 2012 African Union (AU) Summit and on the AU-UN Strategic partnerships on Peace and Security.
