This paper analyzes the role of youth actors in Yemen’s 2011 revolution and in the National Dialogue Conference in 2013. The author emphasizes that the participation of independent youth has triggered positive changes in the country’s political culture, but also notices that their impact on decision making remains very limited. She suggests that Europeans should provide technical assistance and skill-building training to these independent youth groups.
