This paper talks about the effect that technology could have on future war and politics. The author suggests that social media and related technology has neutralized the power that distance could provide in the past and that it has even played a part in removing tyrannies. However, this technology also can make citizens vulnerable to their governments and weaken society. Furthermore, he also suggests that the data that modern technology provides for combatants is no substitute for good training and that it cannot truly overcome the constraints of geography.
