In this interview, Siba Grovogui argues that international relations studies need to be more multidisciplinary than they are. They need, for example, to incorporate anthropological, linguistic, legal, and journalistic approaches, and maybe even the stories and folk wisdom of traditional cultures. By taking this more versatile approach, Grovogui argues, IR studies can avoid some of the 'Hegelian' pitfalls that they currently confront.
