This paper analyzes the impact of the 2003 Iraq war on the Palestinian question. The author describes the original structure and adapted modifications of the Road Map to Peace and details the differences between the Road Map and the Oslo process. The paper provides an outlook on the future of the peace process in the Middle East and examines the possible re-emergence of a one-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
