This paper discusses the negative impact of the Mohammed cartoon controversy on Denmark's international reputation. The author describes how the cartoon controversy has shocked the Danish political establishment and population and partially compromised Denmark's previously good standing in international politics. The paper explores possibilities for Denmark to regain its previously positive international image.
