This paper looks at political discontent in Jordan after 2011 and the implications of this for political reform. The author argues that, not only have missed opportunities for reform by the monarchy fueled political frustration, but also the deeply-rooted problems in Jordanian society, economic hardships, as well youth-based opposition ultimately challenge the monarchy's hold on power.
