This report provides information on issues involved in the implementation of the Safeguards Agreement between Iran and the IAEA in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. According to the short report, since the last report was issued in September 2005, Iran has been more forthcoming in providing access to additional documentation related to a hand-written, one-page document reflecting an offer said to have been made to Iran in 1987 by a foreign intermediary. The offer was for certain components and equipment for Iran's uranium enrichment program.
