This commentary examines the presidency of Azerbaijan's Ilham Aliyev. The author particularly explores Aliyev’s economic strategy and its consequences, his foreign policy, EU-Azerbaijan economic relations, and the opposition's chances in the elections. The author concludes by giving recommendations to the EU and Poland on how to deal with Azerbaijani issues.
