This bulletin examines the sarin-gas attack in Damascus and al-Qaeda's possible involvement. The author argues that there is a gap between the ambitions and capabilities of al-Qaeda and its affiliates. He further argues that there needs to be greater cooperation between international organizations in combating weapons of mass destruction and crisis management planning.
