This paper includes transcripts of panelist's presentations at the 6th workshop of the Study Group “Regional Stability in the South Caucasus”. The event focused on the role of the EU and NATO in the region and its objective of building mutual trust between Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and other regional stakeholders. The panelists discussed: 1) the engagement of the EU and NATO and its consequences, 2) factors preventing development in South Caucasus, 3) the need of regional cooperation, and 4) conditions of external pressure that can stimulate or deter constructive change in the South Caucasus.
