This brief addresses the issue of women not being given equal access to climate finance. The author surveys the policy landscape and emphasizes the need for reforms that integrate gender into projects, policies and international support mechanisms. He argues that such reforms can boost supplies of climate finance and highlights that it is also essential that women possess the knowledge and influence to demand more from climate finance.
