This paper reports on a debate between Afghan MPs and representatives of civil society which focused on the future of their country after the 2014 transition. The topics discussed include: 1) the prospect of security without international support, 2) the participation of women and the youth in the country's political and economic transition, 3) the role of regional players, and 4) the question of peace with the Taliban.
