This policy brief analyzes South Africa’s post-conflict development and peacebuilding efforts in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It identifies lessons learned that could inform the policy and programming development of the envisaged South African Development Partnership Agency (SADPA). The authors highlight the need for better strategic planning, coherency and sustainability to increase impact and effectiveness.
