This bulletin examines Turkey's relations with China, Japan and South Korea. The author argues that Northeast Asia provides an attractive opportunity for Turkey’s growing economic and global influence, though the regional political tensions may limit relationship development. He concludes that, while Turkey’s relationship with Japan and South Korea will continue to develop to some extent, it is the economic relationship with China that will be the primary focus for Turkish policymakers.
