This paper summarizes the proceedings of an October 2002 Peace Studies Program roundtable discussion on the national security strategy adopted by the US government after the 11 September 2001 attacks. It features four chapters outlining different views on the Bush doctrine, the usefulness of military action against Iraq, and American unilateralism.
