This brief looks at developments in Somalia one year after the mandate of the Transitional Federal Government expired. The author examines developments concerning Al-Shabaab, shifts of territorial control, the progress made by the Somali Federal Government in completing a final Constitution and fighting corruption, as well as Somalia's relations to Somaliland and Puntland.
